Beaches of Santa Pola
Santa Pola has 13 beaches and coves, and five of them carry the Blue Flag in 2026. The nearest sand is a 5-minute walk from Blanca Rosa.

The nearest beach: 5 minutes on foot
Walk down to the marina and the sand starts right next to it, 350 m from the door. The water is shallow and calm, which makes it a favourite with families. At the corner is the Mirador del Atardecer, a viewpoint for the sunset.
Town beaches
Playa de Levante lies on the other side of the port, Playa Lisa and Gran Playa stretch west along the town. All have sand, promenades, cafés and beach bars close by. In season you can rent sun loungers and parasols on the beach.
Blue Flag beaches in 2026
Five Santa Pola beaches hold the Blue Flag this year: Varadero, Tamarit, L'Ermita, the coves of Santa Pola del Este and the coves of Santiago Bernabéu. Varadero, a long calm beach along the bay, is 4.3 km away, about 10 minutes by car.
Wild beaches and dunes
The Carabassí beach lies between pine woods and dunes, 9.6 km away (about 16 minutes by car). It is part of a protected natural area and feels far from town. For dogs there is the Caleta dels Gossets, Santa Pola's dog beach.
